Carboxymethyl Starch Powder is formulated by initiating reaction between starch and monochloroacetic acid. Available in 100% pure form, this powder based substance is used as suitable suspending agent, as thickening factor (during production of sauces and readymade gravy) and also as emulsifying agent in food processing and other industrial procedures. Slurry based content of Carboxymethyl Starch Powder has 8 to 11 ph range and its moisture content is maximum 12%. Its formulation is FDA certified and it is also approved by EU.
